A long leave to where?!??

A friend at work called me to his PC this evening and showed me my blog. I was quite suprised that anyone would be taking a look at it. I had actually forgotten i ever maintained a blog! And what was even more shocking was that he was actually reading those long articles i had written and they must have made some sense to him.

I looked at some of the posts myself and i was blessed!!!

So the question to ask now is, why did i stop?

I'll be honest with you, i dont have a cogent reason. But if i must give a reason i will say its laziness, an annoying habit of not completing tasks that i start.

But i have resolved i will put more effort into updating my blog more frequently. So for all those who actually enjoyed my writing, please forgive me and give me a second chance.

Bye for now!

Global biz

Its another week and i'm thinking SERIOUSLY about how to begin international business! Got an idea to start exporting female accessories to Europe and America. What the heck, i have loads of relatives in both places so why not give it a try.

Isiaih 60:11 says : "Your gates will be open around the clock to recieve the wealth of many lands and Kings of the world will cater to you"

Its another week ya'll

I was on ebay site for a couple of hours over the weekend and i just was amazed at thier business model. These guys just chill there and collect a cut on every transaction that takes place on the site. They do not stock inventory, they do not participate in the shipping and logistics they definitly do not incur expenses in the real sense of it. Those guys most have the most profitable business in the history of man!!! I can just imagine that transactions worth millions of USD will be taking place daily on that site.

Hmmm... i wonder how i can do something as novel as this

On Hezekiah

During my morning devotion i stumbled upon a story on Hezekiah in II Chronicles 31. In this story, he had just ascended the throne and made some sweeping reforms. The first thing he did was to get rid of all idols that were in the land, everything that was distracting the people from following after the one true God.

After doing that, he now asked the citizens to donate toward the welfare of the priests so that they would be able to focus on the job of ministring in the temple. The people responded in an overwelming manner and brought a lot of things into the temple...so much that the priests now had way too much!

Verse 21 of the passage then went on to say "In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered"

Truth is that God prospers the faithful. As His children, God expects us to serve Him faithfully in conduct and in church. We are to be a light setting the standard for others. In scriptures, all who served God faithfully always were blessed materially, from Abraham, Isaac down to Solomon. Sure, we will face immense challenges as God's children ( we will see in chapter 32) but we are to hold our ground. Psalm 25:14 promises us that
"The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. "

As business people, God wants to show us how to succeed in business. As parents, he wants to confide in us on how to raise drug free and successful kids. As Governors and national leaders, he wants to share with us secrets on how to govern effectively and develop sound economic policies. As career folks, He's interesting in showing us how to build solid careers. But we gotta fear Him first!

In chapter 32 of second chronicles Hezekiah faced a big challenge in the person of King
Sennacherib, who tried hard to intimidate him. even when we are faithfull and we expect our rewards, they do not always show up the way we want. But do not loose heart, God is faithfull and he will deliver. In verse 20 the king cried out to God and God delivered Him ( who do you cry out to?)

We are told in verse 27 that Hezekiah had great riches. You can follow God and be lacking emotionally, financially etc...!

My first day on blogshpere

I was having my morning devotion today when it occured to me that i could publish some of the things i'm learning from my various experiences on this life journey.

I've been a christian for about 11years now and a business owner for a year and a half, and i have always had dreams of changing the world. Of becoming a billionaire and helping solve the worlds problems by being an inpiration and a private United Nations! Well...there is really a lot to share as regards my thoughts but i guess i'll just spill my guts one day at a time.
